MEREDITH, GLENNA L.

Glenna Gertrude Meredith, age 79, died Monday, December 30, 1991, in a Deerborne, Ohio nursing facility. She was born in Pembroke, Va., September 29, 1912 and daughter of the late Jacob and Nettie Duncan Lafon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chapman J. Meredith; two sons, Earl and Lester Meredith; two daughters, Dorothy M. Tawney and Margaret Bradbury Liber. She is survived by four sons, Chapman Meredith and Ruben Meredith, both of Canton, Ohio; Marvin Meredith and George Meredith, both of Pembroke, Va.; two daughters, Peggy Colston of Dayton, Ohio; Patsy Marshall of Pulaski, Va.; two sisters, Francis Martin and Lake Robertson, both of Pembroke, Va.; 21 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel, Pembroke with burial in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. There will be no public visitation. The Kendall Funeral Home in Pembroke is in charge of arrangements.
