SIMMONS, HARRY L.

Harry Lewis Simmons, age 74 or Roanoke, died Tuesday, December 31, 1991. He was a retired driver for Associated Transport Company and was a Navy Veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nellie Hale Simmons; one daughter and son-in-law, Judy S. Combs and husband, Danny W. Combs, Salem; two granddaughters, Lisa C. Turner and husband, Kevin, Roanoke; Dana A. Combs, Salem; one sister, Evelyn S. Young, Roanoke; one brother, William Simmons, Vinton; a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 2, 1992 with the Rev. Kenneth Littleford officiating. Burial will be in Ceder Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel after 1:00 p.m. Wednesday.
