OBIT ROBERTSON, G.

ROBERTSON, GARY J., SR.

Gary James Robertson, Sr., age 39, died Tuesday, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident near his home. He was a self-employed roofing contractor. He is survived by his wife, Vanessa Meredith Robertson; two sons, Gary James Robertson, Jr., and William Travis Robertson, both at home; his mother, Jean Slovain and stepfather, Richard Slovain, Pearisburg; two brothers, Bobby Robertson and David Robertson, both of Pearisburg. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2:00 p.m. in the Evangelist Outreach Ministry Church, Castle Rock Road, in Pembroke, with pastors, the Rev. Elizabeth Raines and the Rev. Eddie Kendall officiating. Burial will be in the Williams Cemetery on Sinking Creek near Pembroke. The family will receive friends at the Kendall Funeral Home Thursday evening from 6:00 to 9:00.
