Boggs is in charge of consumer operations at the Troutville and Daleville offices.

Prior to her transfer to the Troutville office, Boggs was consumer operations manager at the bank's South Roanoke office.

\ LAURA THORNHILL of 2715 Rosalind Ave. S.W. has been promoted to investment officer by Sovran Investment Corp.

Thornhill began her career with the bank in 1987 as a securities specialist and is responsible for corporate investment sales in the Roanoke, Bedford, Lynchburg, Buena Vista and Lexington areas.
