CLOWER, THOMAS M.Thomas Mitchell Clower, age 79, of Roanoke, died Wednesday in a local hospital. He had retired after 40 years service as a Manager for S. H. Kress and was a Veteran of World War II. He was also a member of Cave Spring United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Jeanetta Pendergrass Clower; two sons, Thomas M. Clower, Jr., Alexandria and John W. Clower, Bloomington, Ind. A memorial service will be held at Oakey's South Chapel, 7:00 p.m. Friday, with the Rev. William C. Logan officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cave Spring United Methodist Church Building Fund or a favorite charity. Friends may call from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at Oakey's South Chapel.
