GEER, ALFRED B.

Alfred Benson Geer, age 92, of Roanoke, died Wednesday evening at Friendship Manor Convalescent Center. He was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church, the founder and former president of H.C. Baker Sales Co., a past vice president of the Host Lions Club, a lifetime member of the Elks Lodge #197, and a former member of the Shenandoah Club. Funeral services will be conducted from the graveside, Sherwood Memorial Park at 12:00 noon Saturday with Rev. A. Murray Goodwin officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Episcopal Church, Jefferson and Elm Ave., Roanoke, Va. 24002 or a favorite charity. Arrangements by Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
