BATH COUNTY RALLY BEATS ROCKBRIDGE

Bath County overcame a five-point halftime deficit to defeat Rockbridge 62-54 in a Pioneer District boys' basketball game Thursday night.

Rockbridge led 31-26 at the half, but Bath rallied for a 42-41 lead after three quarters. Bath outscored the cold-shooting Rebels 20-13 in the fourth.

Bath made eight of 10 fourth-quarter free throws, while Rockbridge went 2-of-8.

Dale Harman, with 17 points, led a trio of double-figure scorers for Bath. Matt Sherrard had 16 and Todd Jenkins 15. William Sensabaugh pumped in a game-high 22 for Rockbridge. \
