WILDER NOT GIVING UP ON NEW HAMPSHIRE
Virginia Gov. Douglas Wilder will continue to campaign in New Hampshire's leadoff presidential primary and can do well if he spends money on radio and television advertising, his state campaign said Thursday.Mame Reiley, state chairman, echoed Virginia campaign manager Joe Johnson's comments denying reports that Wilder would pull out of New Hampshire or cut back his campaigning.
"Our effort in New Hampshire has always been consistent and will remain," she said. The campaign has no plans to cut back on its five full-time paid staffers, part-timers or volunteers, she said.
