WON'T SERVE WITH GAYS IN MILITARY

IN REFERENCE to the position of Arkansas Gov. Bill Clinton, Iowa Sen. Tom Harkin, Massachusetts Sen. Paul Tsongas and California Gov. Jerry Brown on homosexuals' service in the armed forces: I will not serve, tolerate, suffer, allow, arm, render military honors to or accept any order from sexual deviates such as homosexuals.

I don't see this as a social or civil-rights question, but as an attempt to legalize a historic, religious and psychological perversion. The military is not an engine for treatment of society's failures. JACK BURKE JR. WYTHEVILLE
