ART CLASSES ANNOUNCED
The Roanoke Museum of Fine Arts has announced the following winter classes:
New Drawing for Kids, ages 6-9, 1-3 p.m. Saturdays from Jan. 18-March 7.
New Art Experiences, ages 10-13, 10 a.m.-noon Saturdays Jan. 18-March 7. Includes maskmaking, miniature sculpture and pop-up art.
After School Assemblage, ages 12-15, 3:34-5:30 p.m. Wednesdays Jan. 15-March 4.
After School Art, ages 8-11, 3:45-5:30 p.m. Tuesdays Jan. 14-March 3. Collage, crayon batik, etching and other techniques.
Fabric Painting Workshop, teen to adult, 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28.
Photographer's Forum, with Emmet Gowin, for student and adult photographers, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 24.
Fish Prints Too, teen to adult, 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, March 3.
The fee for classes is $58 for museum members and $70 for the general public. Workshops and the photoghrapher's forum are $18 for members and $23 for the general public.
