CLARK, PHILIP R.Philip Ray Clark, age 71, died Thursday, January 2, 1992, after a lengthy stay in the Veteran's hospital, Salem. He was born October 25, 1920 in Rockbridge County, the son of the late Houston L. and Rosa Lee Ramsey Clark. He was a World War II Veteran and retired form Reeves Brothers after 28 years of service. Surviving are four sons, William W. Clark, Ft. Riley, Kan.; Kenneth R. Clark, Buena Vista; Terry R. Clark, Greenville and Phillip (Rusty) Clark, Fairfield; four sisters, Celia Griffin, North Carolina; Irby Sorrells and Ela Spitler, Waynesboro; Clelon Mason, Buena Vista; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 5 at Irish Creek Cemetery by the Rev. Wyatt Mayes. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday at Lomax Funeral Home, Buena Vista.
