McDANIEL, MILDRED F.

Mildred Fitzgerald McDaniel, age 57, died January 2, 1992, in Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born August 14, 1934, in Rockbridge County, the daughter of the late James H. and Lennie Jarvis Fitzgerald. She is survived by her husband, James D. (J.D.) McDaniel; daughter and son-in-law, Terry M. and Richard C. Dudley, Jr. of Colonial Heights; daughter and son-in-law, Kaye M. and Ricky E. Taylor of Buena Vista; son and daughter-in-law, Tony L. and Teresa N. McDaniel of Roanoke; three grandchildren, Eric Shaun Dudley, Brandy Nichole Dudley and Jonathan D. Taylor; three sisters, Dorothy Hostetter of Buena Vista; Ruby Eakin of Stuarts Draft and Evelyn McMannama of Pulaski; two half brothers and four half sisters. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 5, at Lomax Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Don Eade and the Rev. Carl Goodman. Burial will follow in Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday night at Lomax Funeral Home.
