CARTER, LEONA T.

Mrs. Leona T. Carter, age 76, of 325 Harrison Ave., N. W., passed away on Thursday at her home. Survivors include three daughters, Gertrude Smith, Roanoke; Onie Saunders, Capitol Heights, Md.; and Rebecca Gravely, Roanoke; four sons, William, Jessie, Joe and Arthur Carter, all of Roanoke; eleven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; four sisters, Lillie Mae and Juanita of Roanoke; Margarette, Salem; Rosa of South Carolina; and Marie of Washington, D. C.; two brothers, Clarence Leftwich, Washington, D. C. and James Leftwich, Roanoke; other relatives. Hamlar-Curtis, Morticians.
