UVA DROPS FSU

Heather Burge had 19 points, 13 rebounds and six blocked shots and Virginia shot 52 percent in routing Florida State 87-60 in women's college basketball on Friday night.

Dena Evans and Dawn Staley added 13 points each and Heidi Burge finished with 12 for the Cavaliers. who were 36-for-69 on field-goal attempts and outrebounded the Seminoles 42-28. Danielle Ryan had 15 points for Florida State, which was held to 44 percent (24-for-55) shooting.
