LOYD, FRANCES N.

Miss Frances Nelson Loyd of Roanoke, died Friday in a local nursing home. She was the daughter of the late Robert L. and Sallie A. Loyd. She was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church and a retired secretary for the Department of the Interior. Surviving are four nieces, Mrs. Pauline M. Light and Mrs. Hazel M. Sublette, both of Roanoke; Mrs. Carrie M. Fore of Vinton; and Mrs. Margaret K. Mayfield of Dallas, Texas; nephew, John Lewis Mason of Roanoke; five great-nieces, four great-nephews; three great-great-nieces, four great-great-nephews. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in Mount Pleasant Cemetery with the REv. R. Bruce Griffith, Jr. officiating. Friends may call from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday at Oakey's South Chapel.
