CORRELL, JAMES M.

James Milvern Correll, age 84, passed way Saturday in a Roanoke hospital. He was preceded in death by his son, Thomas W. Correll. He is survived by his wife, Blanche Dickerson Correll of Woolwine; one daughter, Mrs. Clifford (Helen) Belcher of Woolwine; four sons, Joe Correll of Tampa, Fla.; James Willard Correll of Wytheville; Curtis Correll of Fredericksburg, Va.; and Kenneth Correll of New York, N. Y.; three sisters, Effie Agnew of Floyd; Ora Brammer of Floyd; and Allie Nolen of Canada; ten grandchildren, five stepgrandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and two stepgreat-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Gardner Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd, with the Rev. Leon Wood officiating with interment in Jacksonville Cemetery in Floyd. Friends may call after 1:00 p.m. Monday at Gardner Funeral Home, Floyd, where the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 Monday evening.
