STEWART, RUSSELL A.Russell A. Stewart, age 68 of Salem, died Friday. He was a member of Faith Evangelical Presbyterian Church and was a Navy veteran of World War II. Mr. Stewart was retired from the Virginia Baptist Children's Home and was preceded in death by a son, Harry Stewart. Surviving are his wife, Ann A. Stewart; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael A. and Patsy C. Stewart of Blue Ridge; daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn A. and Rob Scott of Raleigh, N. C.; Mary (Kitty) Stewart, Sharon E. and Benny L. Feury, all of Salem; seven grandchildren, one brother, E. H. Stewart of Decater, Tenn.; four sisters, Mrs. Vernon (Betsy) Perry of Athens, Tenn.; Mrs. Kenneth (Hazel) Jackson of Gallatin, Tenn.; Mrs. Richard (Helen) Thomas of Pearisburg, Va.; Mrs. Nick (Imogene) Koopman of Decater, Tenn. Graveside services will be from Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at 11:00 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Samuel Harris will officiate. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday.
