Cave Spring's pressure defense caused Albemarle trouble throughout the game, and the Knights remained unbeaten with a 65-47 girls' basketball victory Saturday night.The Knights jumped to a 11-4 lead and extended it behind the scoring of Lisa Hodges.
Hodges, who had a season-high six blocked shots, scored all of her 11 points in the first half.
Cave Spring (8-0) had two other players in double figures. Kim Stewart scored 17 points to go with four steals and five assists, and Amy Athey had a season-high 15 points. - Staff report
