SADLER-EDWARDS

Dr. John Edward Sadler III of Roanoke and Suzan Elan Edwards of Centreville were united in marriage on Saturday, November 2, at 11 a.m. at the Truro Episcopal Church in Fairfax. The Rev. George C. Estes officiated the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Hugh Randall Edwards of Centreville. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Edward Sadler Jr. of Pulaski, and grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Steven Lewis Neas of Roanoke. Maid of honor was Allison Howerton of Roanoke. Bridesmaids were Paige Game of Pulaski, Kathleen Lanter of Richmond, Sushama Richey of Alexandria, and Ann Gordon of Burke, all friends of the bride. The junior bridesmaid was Anna Edwards, cousin of the bride. Best man was John E. Sadler Jr. of Pulaski, father of the groom. Groomsmen were Todd and Tomm Edwards of Centreville, brothers of the bride; Rod Marshall of Manassas, and Bill Munn of Mechanicsville, friends of the groom. The Crucifer was Sarah Edwards of Vienna, cousin of the bride. Readers were Chris Carnes and Michelle Robertson, both of Richmond and friends of the couple. Programs were distributed by Dr. Brad Terry of Winston-Salem, N.C., friend of the groom. A luncheon reception was given by the bride's parents at Westfields International Conference Center. Presiding at the guest register were Allison and Elizabeth Sadler of Pulaski, cousins of the groom. A rehearsal dinner was held on November 1, at Westfields Conference Center, and was hosted by the groom's parents. Miss Edwards graduated from Pulaski County High School and Virginia Tech. Dr. Sadler is a graduate of Pulaski County High School, Hampton-Sydney College and the Medical College of Virginia. He is doing his residency at Roanoke Memorial Hospitals in Family Practice. Following a wedding trip to Disney World in Florida, the couple is residing in Roanoke.
