WHITESCARVER-MINNICK
Kathryn Robinson Baker-Minnick and Paul Andrew Whitescarver were married by
the Reverend Jack A. Minnick, father of the bride, the evening of December 28,
1991 in a candlelight ceremony at Blacksburg United Methodist Church. The
bride is the daughter of the Reverend and Mrs. Jack A. Minnick of Blacksburg.
The groom is the son of Mrs. Margaret G. Whitescarver of Roanoke, and Mr. and
Mrs. Charles K. Whitescarver, Jr., of Franklin County. The maid of honor was
Mrs. Deborah Cook, friend of the bride. The attendants were Miss Lisa
Carpenter, Mrs. Jan Hatcher, and Mrs. Lynda Torgersen, friends of the bride.
Mr. Mark Newsom, friend of the groom, was the best man. Groomsmen were Mr.
Christopher Plavney, friend of the groom; Mr. Charles Whitescarver, III, and
Mr. Robert Whitescarver, brothers of the groom. The bride and groom are both
graduates of Virginia Tech. They will reside in San Diego, California, where
Paul is stationed with the U.S. Navy. .
