ATKINSON ANNIVERSARY

Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Atkinson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on January 4, 1992. The celebration was held at Calvary Baptist Church, Salem, Va., and was hosted by daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Freddie DeLauney, Suffolk, Va.; son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Sherry Atkinson; and grandchildren, Wendy, Amber and Robin Atkinson, Charlotte, N. C. The couple was married January 4, 1942, in Bedford, Va. They are longtime residents of Salem. She is the former Robena O. McCormack. They have two children, Judy A. DeLauney, Suffolk, Va.; and Robert D. Atkinson, Charlotte, N. C.; and three grandchildren. Mr. Atkinson retired from Double Envelope Corporation in 1986 and Mrs. Atkinson retired from Eaton, Yale & Town in 1970.
