SMELSER ANNIVERSARY

Mr. and Mrs. Osborne H. Smelser celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on December 24, 1991. The celebration was held at the Vinton VFW Hall and was hosted by their granddaughters, Valerie and Amanda. The couple was married December 24, 1941. She is the former Bessie Chisom. They have a son, Harold Smelser, of Salem, and two granddaughters, Valerie and Amanda. Mr. Smelser retired from Singer Furniture and Mrs. Smelser is a homemaker.
