FOUTZ, GLADYS H.

Miss Gladys H. Foutz, age 95, of Salem died Saturday in a Salem hospital. She was born September 25, 1896, in Tazewell County, Va. She was a graduate of Radford College. She taught Sunday School and was a member of the Morning Circle at Salem Presbyterian Church for a number of years. She taught at the Bible School at the Buffalo Mountain Mission School. She is survived by her loyal devoted friends, Irene Hawkins and Kate Beckner. Graveside services will be held Monday at 3:00 p.m. at East Hill Cemetery, Salem, with Dr. Wilfred B. Webb Jr. officiating. In lieu of flowers it is requested that contributions be made to the Salem Rescue Squad. Funeral arrangements by the John M. Oakey and Son Funeral Home, Salem.
