HOKE, FRANKLIN R.

Franklin Ray Hoke, age 58, of 1008 Starmount Ave., N.W., died at his home Sunday, January 5, 1992. He was a member of Connelly Memorial Baptist Church and was a retired employee of the Federal Aviation Administration. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his beloved wife, Rachel Leake Hoke; three daughters, Alice Hoke Barr, Sandra Lee Hoke, and Wendy Sue Hoke; one son, Donald Ray Hoke; two grandchildren, Jason and Courtney Barr, all of Roanoke; one brother, Marvin Hoke, Sterling; mother-in-law, Mrs. Helen Leake, Culpeper. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 7, with the Rev. G. William Foster Jr. and the Rev. Charles A. Watkins officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Roanoke County No. 5 Rescue Squad or the American Heart Association. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel where the family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday.
