ELLIS, GRACE C.

Grace Creasy Ellis, age 86, of Roanoke died Saturday in the Virginia Lutheran Synod Home. She was the widow of Leslie B. Ellis, and a member of Rosalind Hills Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons, Roy Howard Ellis, Decatur Ala.; Rodney Lee Ellis, DeLand, Fla.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Frances Jones, Roanoke; three sisters-in-law, Edna Creasy, Mildred Ellis, both of Roanoke; Irene Masincup, Bedford. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon Tuesday from Oakey's Roanoke Chapel with the Rev. Tom Stocks and the Rev. Branan G. Thompson Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Rosalind Hills Baptist Church (2711 Laburnum Ave., S.W., Roanoke, Va., 24015). Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel after 10:00 a.m. Monday where the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday.
