GOAD, ALBERT D.

BEDFORD - Albert Dennis Goad, age 75, of Route 7, died Saturday in a Bedford nursing home. He was born in Pulaski on January 18, 1916, a son of the late Ballard Preston Goad and Mary Catherine Giles. He is survived by his four sons, Oscar Preston Goad, Bedford; Robert Leslie Goad, Manassas; Albert Milton Goad, Fayetteville, N.C.; Randy Wayne Goad, Bedford; one daughter, Patricia Lynn Goad, Texas; three brothers, Tony Goad, Pulaski; Elsie Goad, Pulaski; Delmar Goad, Pulaski; two sisters, Maudie Sutphin, Allisonia; Lucy King, Snowville; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, January 7, 1992, at the Carder-Tharp Funeral Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Richard Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Carder-Tharp Funeral Home, Bedford.
