WAYS PEOPLE DIE DUE TO CIGARETTES
I APPRECIATE D. Grey Thompson's discreet smoking (letter, Dec. 28). He said he had never heard of anyone getting killed over a cigarette.Just recently a young boy was burned to death from playing with a cigarette lighter; a mother and her daughter were killed driving to a store for more cigarettes; countless people die each year from smoking in bed; and if the price of this drug keeps going up, you could get killed by another addict who doesn't have money to support his addiction.
