ALSO LOST: PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY
I WANT to thank Cabell Cobbs (letter, Dec. 25) for putting my thoughts and feelings on paper and doing it so well. I would also thank this paper for printing his letter. It was well thought out and very well said.It seems to me that he didn't go quite far enough in what happened not just to responsibility in journalism, but to personal responsibility. This society has changed so much it's downright scary, especially in taking responsibility for one's own words and actions.
Why on Earth choose to be a victim instead of the old-fashioned way of being responsible for yourself, your life, your problems, etc.? I am baffled. RENEE WURDINGER BLUE RIDGE
