DANNER, VIRGINIA P.

Mrs. Virginia Peters Danner, age 77, of Salem, died Monday morning in a Salem hospital. Mrs. Danner was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the V.F.W. Auxiliary. She was a former dental assistant at the VA Medical Center. Surviving are her husband, Mason L. Danner, Salem; two daughters and son-in-law, Virginia (Kitty) and Lawrence E. Hylton, Smith Mountain Lake; Betsy Atkinson, Alexandria; five grandchildren, Larry Hylton, Mary Thurman, Julie Vance, Cissi Todd, Jeffrey Jones; nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted from Lotz Roanoke Chapel 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 8, 1992 with Father James E. Parke officiating. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at Lotz Roanoke Chapel.
