PLAYMAKERS ANNOUNCE `SHADOW BOX' TRYOUTS

Playmakers & Company will hold open auditions today and Wednesday for "The Shadow Box," a two-act play by Michael Cristofer.

Auditions will begin at 7 p.m. in the Christiansburg library's community room. Parts are available for three men, four women and a 13- to 15-year-old boy.

The play is about three families dealing with illness and death. The language and subject matter are not suitable for children, and parental guidance is advised.
