DANCE TROUPE TO PERFORM AT COLLEGE

Mark and Ella Magruder, better known as the Menagerie Dance Co., will perform at Wytheville Community College Jan. 18 at 8 p.m. in Grayson Hall.

Tickets are $2 ($1 for students and senior citizens). The performance is sponsored by the college's Cultural Affairs Committee and funded in part by a Virginia Commission for the Arts grant.

The couple has performed throughout the United States in the past seven years. Both performers are assistant professors at Sweet Briar College. Their repertoire includes abstract pieces and works based on myth and legend. - Southwest bureau
