BICENTENNIAL MEETING IN CHRISTIANSBURG

The town's Bicentennial Commission is holding a community meeting Jan. 23 for people who want to get involved in the town's birthday celebration plans.

The meeting will be at 7:30 p.m. at the Christiansburg National Guard Armory to plan several events, including pioneer and homecoming days; religious, civic and educational programs; and stage shows.
