BROOKMAN, JOHN W.

Mr. John William Brookman, age 97, of Roanoke, died Tuesday, January 7, 1992. He is survived by his wife, Opal Grantham Brookman; his daughter, Martha Bell Janney, Roanoke; grandchildren, Henry T. Farmer, Vinton; Betty Lou Lefler, Kania, Alaska; several great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Stella Anderson, Kingsport, Tenn.; F. E. (Pete) and Isabell Blankenship, Roanoke; Burman and Helen Grantham, Pulaski; Thomas and Peggy Grantham, Texas; Ione Grantham, Roanoke; Betty Grantham, Maryland; Gertrude Gibbs, Pulaski; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel by Rev. Doug Paysour with interment at 12:00 noon in the Thorn Springs Cemetery, Pulaski. Friends may call Thursday or Friday at the Lotz Funeral Home, Roanoke.
