DONATIONS NEEDED FOR COMMUNITY YARD SALE

Donations are being accepted twice weekly for a community yard and bake sale to benefit local charities.

Donations will be accepted in Pulaski at the former Tyler Drugstore in the Food Fair Shopping Center on Virginia 99 for the sale, which is scheduled for April 9-11.

Items such as furniture, crafts, jewelry and clothing - which are clean and in good condition - will be accepted on Saturdays and Wednesdays, 10 a.m.-noon, until the first sale day.

All proceeds from the sale will be given to several different charities.
