WILLIAM BYRD LOSES IN 3 OT

It took three overtimes and a last-second shot by Tonche Dotson, but Fieldale-Collinsville defeated William Byrd the Terriers 69-68 in a non-district boys' basketball game.

David Robertson finished with a game-high 28 points and made six of seven free throws for Byrd.

Thad Wade led the Cavaliers with 14 points and five assists. \
