A judge sentenced Commonwealth's Attorney Joseph Morrissey and defense attorney David P. Baugh to five days in jail Wednesday for their role in a Dec. 19 courthouse fight. Both attorneys also were ordered to pay $250 each.
Circuit Judge Thomas N. Nance called it a "disgusting display" in which both lawyers "were completely out of control."
Morrissey and Baugh, who immediately began serving their jail sentences, were charged with contempt of court and proceeding out of rule.
