Actor Christopher Reeve plans to marry his longtime girlfriend this summer, his publicist said Wednesday.

Reeve, 39, best known for playing the title role in the "Superman" movies, will marry Dana Morosini, a 30-year-old singer and an actress, on June 30. It will be five years to the day that they met each other, said publicist Wendy Morris.

"They will be married wherever they are at that time," Morris said. "It's not like they're only going to do it if they're both in New York."

It will be Reeve's first marriage. He has two children from a relationship with former model Gae Exton.

Reeve's next film is Disney's version of the stage hit "Noises Off." It will be released in the spring.

Retired Los Angeles Lakers star Earvin "Magic" Johnson and singer Jeffrey Osborne led a star-studded recording session Tuesday to help raise money for AIDS research.

The song, "The Heart of a Hero," was composed by Osborne. Present at the session were Luther Vandross, James Ingram, Johnny Gill, Donny and Marie Osmond, Howard Hewett, Phil Perry, Curtis Stigers and Vesta Williams.

Marcus Allen and Howie Long of the Raiders, and Henry Ellard of the Rams also participated.

Osborne will introduce the song live on national television at 8 p.m. Jan. 25 on a special called "Super Bowl Saturday Night" on the TNT cable network.

Part of the proceeds will go to AIDS research. Johnson recently retired from professional basketball after disclosing he had contracted the HIV virus, which causes AIDS.

After finishing, she plans to start a project combining ministry and contemporary Christian music. She also wants to revisit some of her old Las Vegas casino haunts and hold church services.
