AUDITIONS OPEN FOR "UP FROM SLIME"

Auditions will take place Friday and Saturday for parts in the children's opera, "Up From Slime."

The opera, by Milton Granger, will presented May 8 in Giles and Wythe Counties and May 9-10 at Radford University. Granger's work is about creatures ranging from protozoan to human beings.

It will be performed by children aged 9-14.
