TRAVIS TRITT'S OWN TOUR COMING TO ROANOKE
Rising country star Travis Tritt Tritt played second fiddle to the Kentucky Headhunters on his last trip to Southwest Virginia. But that was before his single, "Here's a Quarter (Call Someone Who Cares)," became one of 1991's biggest country hits. That also was before Tritt won the Country Music Association's Horizon Award, which honors the industry's most promising newcomer each year.Now Tritt is headlining a tour that also features Marty Stuart and acclaimed fiddler Mark O'Connor. The show comes to the Roanoke Civic Center on Feb. 7 at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. Monday at the civic center box office (981-1201) and TicketMaster outlets.
