DRISCOLL, FREDERICK L. Frederick Lee Driscoll, age 74, of Roanoke, died Thursday. He was a veteran of World War II and retired chief baker at the VA Medical Center. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Cliff Noel Driscoll. He is survived by his wife, Gladys Bayne Driscoll; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael Bill and Debbie Driscoll, Botetourt; Danny L. and Beverly Driscoll, Newport News; Roger W. and Donna Driscoll, Yorktown; Larry N. Driscoll, Roanoke; sisters, Pauline Schwietering, Shelton, Wash.; Cora Burnette, Danville; Rebecca Harris, Roanoke; brother, John D. Driscoll, Baltimore, Md.; brother-in-law, Jack D. Bayne, Sr., Roanoke; grandchildren, Heather, Ryan, Josh, Erick, Gregg, Matthew Driscoll. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Lotz Salem Chapel by the Rev. Branan Thompson, Jr., with burial in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Saturday or Sunday at the Lotz Funeral Home, Salem.
