SAMPSON, JACK L.
Jack L. Sampson, age 62 of Salem, passed away Thursday evening in a local hospital. He was a United States veteran and was presently retired from Mental Health Services. Mr. Sampson was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Sampson and is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Samuel M. and Karen Sampson, Salem; Steve F. and Anne Sampson, Roanoke; Scott A. and Robw Sampson, Salem; a granddaughter, Tori Ann Sampson, Salem; three brothers, Robert Sampson, Idaho; Douglas Sampson, Roanoke; Billy Sampson, Blairs, Va.; a sister, Betty Sampson, Roanoke; and a former wife, Betty Witt Sampson, Salem. Funeral service will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Mountain View Christian Church, (Route 311, New Castle, Va. 24127). Arrangements by Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
