OBIT GILLESPIE, C.

GILLESPIE, CHARLES R. Charles R. Gillespie, age 66, of Cleveland, Ohio, died Tuesday, January 7, 1992, the Manor Care Nursing Home in Madison Heights. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dora Sheffey Gillespie, and his mother, Margaret Gillespie Emery. He is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Charles Gerry Gillespie of Cleveland, Ohio; Bryan and Ashli Gillespie of Bellevue, Washington; one sister, Elizabeth Ann Hockman of Mt. Jackson, Va.; one brother, Billy Gillespie of Ivanhoe, Va.; two grandchildren, Matthew and Arrianna Gillespie. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 13, 1992, at 11:00 a.m. at the Barnett Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Joe Carrico officiating. Interment will be in the Umberger Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Barnett Funearl HOme from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday. Friends may call at the home of Margaret Emery any time Sunday afternoon. Barnett Funeral Home in Wytheville is in charge of the arrangements.
