EARLY, RUTH T. Ruth Thompson Early, age 76, of 813 Raymond Avenue, N.W., died Saturday, January 11, 1992. She was a member of Huntington Court United Methodist Church, a graduate of Radford College, and a retired school teacher from the Roanoke County School System. She is survived by her husband, Alvin C. Early Sr.; one daughter, Anne Early King, Roanoke; two sons, Alvin C. Early Jr., D.V.M., Cloverdale; David T. Early and wife, Kathleen, Virginia Beach; four grandchildren, Patrick C., Sean R., Megan A., and Kelly S. Early; two brothers, Dunn N. Thompson Jr., Buford B. Thompson; three sisters, Mrs. George (Louise) O'Hara and Mrs. E.S. (Helen) Pillis, Mrs. M.F. (Kathleen) Martin, all of Roanoke. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel at 11:30 a.m. Monday, January 13, with burial in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel where the family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday.
