SMITH, JEANETTE W. Mrs. Jeanette Wyper Smith, age 78, of Roanoke died Saturday, January 11, 1992, at her home. She was past president of the Woman's Club of Roanoke, a member of the Thursday Morning Music Club, and the Roanoke Symphony. She was a volunteer at Community Hospital of the Roanoke Valley. Surviving are her husband, Walter Cecil Smith; two daughters and a son-in-law, Betty and John Hundley, Daleville; Joan S. Blankenship, Roanoke; three grandchildren, Elaine and her husband, Barry Montgomery, Scruggs; Diana and her husband, Linley Hackworth, Roanoke; John W. Blankenship, Gaithersburg, Md.; two great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens 2:00 p.m. Monday with the Rev. James Beverley officiating. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
