OBIT JARVIS, F.

JARVIS, FRANCIS B. Francis Blackwell Jarvis, age 69, died Saturday, January 11, 1992, in the Stonewall Jackson Hospital. Mr. Jarvis was born January 22, 1922, in Rockbridge County, a son of the late Hiram Turpin Jarvis and Ella Blackwell Jarvis. He was a member of the Timber Ridge A.R.P. Church and was retired from the U.S. Navy. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. John (Cecil) Raidabaugh, Richmond; Mrs. Lloyd (Ella Mae) Pultz, Lexington. Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 14, 1992, in the Timber Ridge A.R.P. Cemetery officiated by the Rev. Robert Gordon. The family suggests memorial donations be made to the Timber Ridge A.R.P. Church. The family will receive friends Monday from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington.
