OBIT MOSBACH, J.
MOSBACH, JOHN E. John E. Mosbach, age 49, of 1119 Coolbrook Road died
suddenly Saturday, January 11, 1992, in Bedford County Memorial Hospital. He
was born in Algona, Iowa on December 28, 1942, was a Vietnam veteran, a
Communicant of Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, an employee with the U.S.
Department of Agriculture, a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus, member of
Bedford Moose Lodge No. 1897, a member of the V.F.W. and American Legion, a
graduate of Iowa State University, and was a life member of the Alumni
Association. Survivors include his wife, Lynda Jo Mosbach; a daughter,
Catherine Jo Mosbach, both of Bedford; two brothers, Cletus William Mosbach,
Greenfield, Iowa; Dennis Michael Mosbach, Whittemore, Iowa. A memorial service
will be conducted at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church on Monday, January 13,
1992, at 7:00 p.m. with the Rev. James J. Begley officiating. Burial will be
at a later date in St. Michael's Cemetery in Whittemore, Iowa. The family will
receive friends at the Carder-Tharp Funeral Home on Sunday from 7:00 to 9:00
p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to either the Bedford Life
Saving Crew, the Bedford Public Library, or your favorite charity.
