CAVE SPRING ATHLETE TOPS AT TRACK MEET
Cave Spring High School's Ronde Barber finished first in the 55-meter hurdles in 7.2 seconds and fifth in the triple jump and was voted most valuable runner at the VMI Keydet Invitational Track Meet on Saturday.There were 35 teams from Virginia, Maryland and North Carolina and 1,700 athletes competing.
Cave Spring's Tiki Barber won the triple jump at 45 feet, 3 1/2 inches, and Patrick Henry's Jermaine Ferrell won the high jump with a 6-4 jump. \
