SIMMONS-SMOOT

Deborah Kay Simmons and Michael Wayne Smoot are engaged and planning to be married August 1992. Deborah is the daughter of Mr. Granard R. Simmons of Goodview. Miss Simmons is a graduate of William Byrd High School and Virginia Western Community College. She is employed with the U.S. Attorney's Office in Roanoke. Michael is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Smoot of Lynchburg. Mr. Smoot is a graduate of Brookville High School and Virginia Tech. He is employed with the Radford Arsenal.
