Stephanie Jane Witmer and Frazier McKay Williams were united in marriage on January 4, 1992, in South Roanoke United Methodist Church. The Rev. James Hain and the Rev. Clifford Caldwell officiated the ceremony. The reception was held in the Church Social Hall.Sarah Witmer, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Kathryn O'Neil, Kelly Phelan, Lisa VanNieuwal and Cathy White. Matthew Fredrickson, friend of the groom, was the best man. The ushers were Dean Walston, Eric Willingham, friends of the groom; James Williams and Joseph Williams, brothers of the groom. Lauran Roth was the guestbook attendant.
The bride's gown was silk satin with hand beaded pearls.
Stephanie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Verle E. Witmer of Roanoke, is a graduate of VA Tech and is attending the pharmacy school at MCV in Richmond. Frazier, son of Mr. and Mrs. James E. Williams, Jr., of Greenville, Va., is a graduate of VA Tech. He is employed by Perdue Farms, Inc.
After the wedding trip to the Caribbean, the newlyweds will live in Harrisonburg, Va.
