SHEPPARD, BEATRICE J.

Beatrice Mae Jobe Sheppard, age 87, of Salem passed away Saturday. She was the widow of Denton Carmel Sheppard and was also predeceased by a daughter, Eleanor M. Sheppard. Surviving are three sons, Robert Denton Sheppard, Fincastle; James D. Sheppard, Salem; Dean C. Sheppard, Gretna, La.; two daughters, Marguerite S. Brown, Columbia, S.C.; Christine S. Randall, Gainesville, Fla.; one brother, Edward Jobe, Salem; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 14, 1992, from the Fort Lewis Christian Church. The Rev. William F. Murdock will officiate. Interment will follow in Churchill Cemetery. Friends may call at Lotz Salem Chapel.
